Call for Trade Stands! Food, art, sweets, clothes!
If you’re a purveyor of interesting wares, you belong at the Saughall Hoedown!
Trade stands are £50 for the day, plus an agreed percentage of your profits from the day, to be made at the end of the day.
We love bespoke foods, pretty jewellery and cool clothes. In return for a donation we’d love for you to come and add to our growing community of awesome items for sale!
If you run wacky workshops in wonderful things we’d love you to run a space here in the festival too! We already have a number of workshops being arranged so if you’d like to submit a brief synopsis of what you do, please email the link below. We need to hear from you before the 30th January 2018 to ensure you have a place – leaving it later than this means we cannot guarantee a space.
To enquire about spaces, please email email@example.com
New this year is a greater focus on a ‘festival village’. It is intended to give Saughall Hoedown another attractive angle.
On the day: You will be sited near the main area. You can drop equipment and tables off from your vehicle but then you will need to return vehicles to the parking area before 11am, and you need to be ready and set up by 12noon (when the gates open), and not plan to leave before 4.30pm. The later you can stay the better. If you want to pack down and rejoin the party you are most welcome!
Weather: We cannot supply cover so please feel free to bring along any gazebos/tents you wish to use.
Power is limited. If you are requiring any electrical demand please bring your own power source. Please ensure you comply with normal duty or care considerations. The rule on rubbish is please take it away with you. Please ensure you area is left as you found it.
Please note: If you wish to sell alcoholic drinks, this would be subject to a strict set of rules – we raise the majority of our funds for the charities through the bar at the hoedown, and this is therefore a sensitive area for us. Please contact us with this in mind!
